A source revealed that the 49-year-old actress has opened her home to friends who were forced to evacuate the Los Angeles area this week.

“Angie is heartbroken for those who have lost their homes or been impacted by the fires,” the source shared. “She is doing everything she can to help, even opening her home to friends who had to evacuate.”

The Most Destructive Wildfires in Los Angeles History

The wildfires in Los Angeles began in Pacific Palisades on Tuesday, January 7, and are considered among the most destructive in the city’s history.

According to officials, approximately 10,000 structures, including homes and offices, have been destroyed in the Palisades and Eaton fires, which continue to burn in Pasadena.

The fires have displaced more than 80,000 people, including celebrities such as Leighton Meester, Adam Brody, Anna Faris, Ricki Lake, Cary Elwes, and Cameron Mathison.

As of Friday, January 10, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (DME) reported 11 fatalities related to the fires, which are under investigation.

Hollywood Stars Join Forces to Support Fire Victims

Like Angelina Jolie, many other celebrities are stepping up to help those affected by the wildfires.

Halle Berry shared on Instagram that she is working with Sharon Stone and has donated her “entire wardrobe” to support those who need basic necessities after losing everything in the fires.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have also opened their mansion to friends and loved ones forced to evacuate from the Los Angeles area.

Meanwhile, Jamie Lee Curtis and Christopher Guest have pledged $1 million to support victims of the natural disaster.
