21 Savage was scheduled to perform on the main stage at 6:05 PM on Friday (August 23), but many attendees expressed frustration when the rapper arrived 40 minutes late and only performed for 10 minutes.

Fans’ Disappointment

The 31-year-old rapper, born in London but raised in Atlanta, USA, was expected to perform at the festival from 6:05 PM to 6:55 PM. With day tickets priced at £115 and weekend passes at £325, fans were eager to see the Grammy-winning artist in action.

However, when 21 Savage arrived late and left quickly, attendees felt cheated. Many were furious, calling the performance a “complete joke”, as he only performed four songs and “mumbled through every track.”

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), one frustrated attendee wrote:
“Where do I go to file a complaint with Leeds Festival about half the lineup being cut and 21 Savage only performing for 10 minutes in a 1-hour slot? The whole day was chaotic. I paid for a Friday day ticket!”

In response, the festival organizers replied:

Many others also demanded a refund:
“Can we take the money paid to 21 Savage for his 12-minute set at Leeds Fest and give it back to the people who bought Friday tickets as compensation for that terrible performance?”
