Katy Perry’s Pregnancy Secret: You Won’t Believe Where She Keeps This Memento!
Katy Perry has revealed an unexpected keepsake from the early days of her pregnancy with fiancé Orlando Bloom—the positive pregnancy test that marked the beginning of their journey to parenthood.
The singer, 40, who welcomed her daughter Daisy Dove in 2020, recently shared that she has held onto the first test she took, preserving it as a cherished memory.
Reflecting on her most iconic Instagram posts during an interview with Capital FM, Katy revealed that the test is stored in a drawer alongside another quirky memento—the fake elf ears Orlando wore as Legolas in The Lord of the Rings films.
Showing a snapshot of the positive test, Katy explained, “Here is my pee stick for one of my children. I conceived my daughter Daisy Dove Bloom.
“I remember Orlando was away, and I FaceTimed him while I was on a hike. I was like, ‘Guess what!’

“We had wished for her so much and set every intention. We just got our biggest gift. It was the best decision I’ve ever made. And I still have it. And that’s weird, but it’s not—and I don’t care.”
When asked where she keeps the test, she added, “Oh, it’s in a drawer with lots of things. You know what else is in the drawer? It’s probably next to Orlando’s Legolas ears. Just all the most important things.”
During the interview, Katy also shared a sweet story about her recent experience at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Australia.
“I actually went and did a show in Australia and I went really quickly. I had one day off before the show and I was like, ‘Okay girl, I’m going to go to the show,’ and I was so excited.
“People gave me bracelets, and I think Rita Ora gave me a bracelet. I loved it. It’s like a community—it’s an adorable, sweet community. I got to see her [Taylor Swift], got to catch up, and I love her so much.”

The heartwarming reunion between Katy and Taylor comes years after the two pop stars ended their infamous feud, showcasing how their relationship has evolved into genuine friendship.
2024 was a year of highs and lows for Katy. In May, she concluded her seven-year run on American Idol, signaling a shift in her career. However, her highly anticipated album, 143, faced challenges.
While the LP debuted at number six on the Billboard charts, it quickly fell out of the top 200 within two weeks. Critics, including Variety, noted that the album “strips away the remnants of the perky personality” that initially drew fans to Perry.
The lead single, Woman’s World, released in July, also struggled to make an impact. NME described it as “the most disastrous comeback single in recent memory.”

The album’s collaboration with producer Dr. Luke, who has been a polarizing figure in the music industry, did not sit well with some fans. Katy addressed the concerns, explaining that contractual obligations required her to work with him, with potential legal repercussions if she did not.
Despite the setbacks, Katy persevered. She released an extended version of the album, titled 1432, on December 20. The re-release featured new tracks, including No More Tears For New Year’s, I Woke Up, Has A Heart, and OK.
The holiday single No More Tears For New Year’s found success internationally, hitting number one on iTunes in Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, and Jordan by the end of 2024.
As Katy looks forward to the future, she continues to balance her roles as a mother, artist, and resilient force in the music industry. Her ability to find joy in life’s little moments—from a pregnancy test in a drawer to a friendship bracelet at a concert—reminds fans why they fell in love with her in the first place.
