Country music star Kelsea Ballerini recently found herself at the center of pregnancy rumors after postponing several tour dates. However, the “Cowboys Cry Too” singer was quick to set the record straight, clarifying that her illness—not pregnancy—was the reason for the cancellations.

Kelsea Ballerini Responds to Pregnancy Speculation

After rescheduling some of her concerts, fans began speculating whether Ballerini was expecting a baby with her boyfriend, Chase Stokes. One social media user even commented, “Maybe pregnant?!”—prompting the 31-year-old artist to directly address the rumor.

In a TikTok video shared on Feb. 6, Kelsea—who appeared visibly congested and tired while wearing under-eye patches—dramatically bowed her head before responding:

“Or maybe it’s the flu.”

The singer sarcastically slammed her hands on the counter, clearly frustrated with the assumption. In her caption, she reassured fans that she was feeling better and excited for her next performance, writing:

“Anyway, feeling better and can’t wait to see you tonight, Buffalo.”

Ballerini Forced to Cut Buffalo Concert Short

Despite powering through her illness, Kelsea may have pushed herself too hard. Although she took the stage in Buffalo, New York, as planned, she was ultimately forced to end the show early after only performing a few songs.

In a follow-up TikTok video, Kelsea expressed her deep regret:

“Buffalo, I am so so sorry that I could not finish the show tonight,” she shared. “I am sicker than I am trying to be, and I did not want to let anyone down. I just got through the first few songs, and I couldn’t do it.”

The “Miss Me More” singer further explained her decision, emphasizing that she never wants to deliver a subpar performance.

“I’m so sorry, but I never want to give you a half-ass show.”

Rescheduled Shows & Promises to Fans

To make it up to fans, Kelsea rescheduled the show for April 11, promising an unforgettable performance.

“I will make them the best shows I’ve ever played in my whole life,” she assured her followers. “I will pull out every stop for you and I will make it so worth it.”

Kelsea and Chase Stokes’ Relationship Update

While Ballerini dismissed pregnancy rumors, she did confirm that her romance with Outer Banks star Chase Stokes is going strong.

Speaking to E! News in October, she shared:

“I’m happy, and everything is as it should be.”

As for whether wedding bells might be in the future, Kelsea left the door open but isn’t in a rush.

“I would never say never to anything,” she admitted. “Anything that I’ve said a hard no to in my life, I have come back and challenged myself on.”

However, for now, the country star is focused on the present, prioritizing her career and health.
