Supporting Affordable Housing for Kaua’i Families
The donation, made by the Chan Zuckerberg Kaua’i Community Fund through the Hawai’i Community Foundation, will secure five homes at Kauhale O Kīlauea for PAL’s Hoʻomaluhia Community Land Trust (HCLT). This ensures these homes remain permanently affordable for future generations.

Today, Zuckerberg’s 300-acre Koolau Ranch estate, poised to become one of the largest private residences in U.S. history, exemplifies his simultaneous roles as a private citizen and philanthropist.
